8:15 a.m. update: A long list of crashes and slow traffic

Safe to say that anybody on the roads at this hour will likely be late, especially if travels include I-35W in south Minneapolis. Both directions are crammed between downtown and the Crosstown, 15 to 18 minutes each way.

Safe to say that anybody on the roads at this hour will likely be late, especially if travels include I-35W in south Minneapolis. Both directions are crammed between downtown and the Crosstown, 15 to 18 minutes each way.

Westbound 94 is running well below the posted, so plan on adding lots of extra time to the drive. It's 27 minutes westbound from Manning Avenue to Hwy. 280.

Here are our current trouble spots:

  • Westbound 94 at Lexington Avenue
    • Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 280 to Snelling Avenue
      • Stall in the HOT lane northbound 35W at 46th Street and another ahead at 35th
        • Eastbound Hwy. 10 at Hwy. 65
          • Westbound 494 at Lake Road in Woodbury. Crammed across the Wakota Bridge to Hardman Av.
            • Eastbound 494 at Carlson Pkwy.
              • Ramp closed for road work, westbound 94 at Hamline Avenue
