8:10 a.m. update: Still slow on the Blue Line

Riders on the Metro Blue Line can experience delays of 10 to 15 minutes in both directions.

Earlier this morning, a train experienced a mechanical failure at the Hennepin Avenue/Warehouse station in downtown Minneapolis. That train has been moved out of the way, said transit spokesman John Siqveland.

Metro Transit has added a few extra trains along the line to mitigate delays, he said.
