Earlier crashes on southbound 35W tangled traffic through Shoreview and traffic has been slow to recover. The thick conditions are in place from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280, making for a 30 minute drive from the Forest Lake Split to downtown Minneapolis.
Things are really dragging on southbound 35E from 694 to downtown St. Paul. A new crash on westbound 694 near the 35E/694 split are adding to the misery. Plan on 25 minutes from County Road J to downtown St. Paul.
Northbound 35W creeps along from County Road 42 past a disabled vehicle in the left lane on the Minnesota River bridge. Things move swifter north of 98th Street into downtown Minneapolis. Plan on 22 minutes from the river to the I-94/downtown exits.
