8:10 a.m. update: Jammed on 35W in Minneapolis

While most areas of the metro area are seeing light levels of traffic, that's not the case on northbound 35W. Traffic is running well below the posted with bumper to bumper conditions from Diamond Lake Road up to downtown.

While most areas of the metro area are seeing light levels of traffic, that's not the case on northbound 35W. Traffic is running well below the posted with bumper to bumper conditions from Diamond Lake Road up to downtown.

Previous wrecks at 35th Street and one on eastbound 94 at Cedar Avenue allowed traffic to build up. Thing have just not shaken loose. The result is 18 minutes from Crosstown to downtown.

In Chaska, the left lane is blocked on eastbound Hwy. 212 between Hwy. 41 and Audubon Road where a cement mixer rolled over in the center median.

Also in the area, a wreck on Hwy. 41 north of Hwy. 212 has just cleared. Things will be heavy in the area for the next few minutes.
