Traffic on Hwy. 169 in Brooklyn Park is very slow around I-94. A crash on the southbound side at 77th Avenue and road work on the northbound side are the culprits.
A crash on northbound 35W at 50th Street has cleared. Things remain heavy from Crosstown to Lake Street.
The drive in both directions of 494 in Bloomington from Hwy. 169 over to Cedar Avenue is now close to 25 minutes.
On 694, things are slow in both directions from 35E over to Central Avenue. Plan on 20 minutes there.
Eastbound 394 bunches up near Hwy. 169 and again near Wirth Pkwy. Plan on 13 minutes for that trip.
A nice backup is in place on westbound Hwy. 36 from 35E over to Hwy. 280. Plan on 12 minutes there.
The special election Nov. 5 will determine whether the GOP flips control of the state Senate or the DFL stays in charge.
