It's gridlock conditions on just about every major highway and freeway. Drive times are easily double and in many cases triple the normal.

Drives of 45 minutes to an hour are no uncommon today on routes such as westbound 94 from Woodbury to Minneapolis, southbound 35W from the Forest Lake Split to downtown Minneapolis, and northbound 35W from Lakeville to Minneapolis.

Look for a stall blocking the center lane on westbound 494 at Lyndale Avenue. Things are not moving along the entire Bloomington stretch.

Westbound Hwy. 36 is 45 minutes from White Bear Avenue over to Hwy. 280.

Southbound Hwy. 100 is 48 minutes from 94 down to Crosstown.
