From an earlier seven-car pile up to a current spin out, travel on Hwy. 169 has been difficult all morning.

The latest problem is a spinout involving a pickup truck that slammed into the side of the bridge on northbound 169 at Bren Road. Ahead, a stall and crash near Hwy. 55 has traffic stacked up beginning at Cedar Lake Road. Southbound is dealing with a stall at Cedar Lake Road.

Before 6 a.m., a seven-car pile up had the highway closed for nearly 45 minutes. Both directions of 169 between Hwy. 7 and Valley View Road have has several spin outs this morning, by far the most crash-prone area.

Northbound Cedar Avenue is plugged up from north of County Road 42 up to the Mall of America. A crash near Hwy. 13 tangled traffic for about 20 minutes. It's gone, but delays remain.
