8:05 a.m. update: Heavy on 35W coming in from the north, better from the south

A pair of vehicles are on the right shoulder. Looks like a wreck on southbound 35W at 4th Street in Minneapolis. It's heavy coming down from Industrial Blvd. To the north, traffic is slow moving from 95th Ave. to Hwy. 280. Plan on 35 minutes to get downtown Minneapolis..

Finally, a bit of relief for northbound 35W drivers. A wreck at 31st Street has cleared. We do have police activity on the left shoulder at 46th Street which is causing slow downs there. Overall, travel times from Crosstown to downtown has dropped in the past few minutes. It's about a 13-minute ride.

Oakdale commuters, beware of a wreck on the right shoulder of southbound 694 near 10th Street. That's only causing minor delays.
