7 a.m. update: Eight cars involved in crash on Cedar Avenue

Up to eight vehicles on both the left and right shoulders are plugging traffic.

The biggest trouble spot by far is on northbound Cedar Avenue at the Minnesota River Bridge. Up to eight vehicles on both the left and right shoulders are plugging traffic. Three troopers and an ambulance are on the scene. Plan on a good 20 minutes coming up from Cliff Road.

Big traffic jam developing on southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to 694. You'll need 20 minutes from 95th to Hwy. 280. There is word of a crash just past 694.

On southbound 494 look for the left lane to be blocked with a crash at Bass Lake Road.

Two fender benders on 94. One is eastbound at Huron Blvd. and the other is westbound at Johnson Pkwy.
