7 a.m. update: Delays on 35W in north metro

Crews have picked up the object that was blocking the left lane on southbound 35W at Hennepin Avenue. Still expect delays coming down from Hwy. 280.

Crews have picked up the object that was blocking the left lane on southbound 35W at Hennepin Avenue. Still expect delays coming down from Hwy. 280.

Traffic also is heavy from 95th Avenue to 694. Plan on 32 minutes to reach downtown Minneapolis.

In St. Paul, a stalled vehicle that had been blocking the center lane at Mounds Blvd. has been towed away. The backups remain back to Century Avenue. Plan on 16 minutes from 694 to 94.

On southbound 35E, things are congested from County Road 14 to Pennsylvania Avenue. That's a 30-minute drive. Look for a crash on the left shoulder at County Road 96.

A hazard on the road is slowing traffic on eastbound 94 at 7th Street in downtown St. Paul.
