The toughest drive by far continues to be on southbound I-35W from Blaine to downtown Minneapolis. An earlier crash at SE. 8th Street and another at University Avenue tangled traffic, and things have yet to shake loose. A new wreck at Hwy. 280 is adding to the misery. Southbound Hwy. 280 is moving much faster.
Look for a pocket of congestion on eastbound 94 between Albertville and Rogers. For westbound 94 drivers, speeds drop between Hwy. 61 and downtown St. Paul.
For commuters on northbound Hwy. 169, a crash at Anderson Lake Pkwy. is adding a few minutes to the drive. Plan on 13 minutes from Canterbury Road up to 494.
