As we approach the 8 a.m. hour, many major routes are seeing increased traffic volumes and with that comes a number of crashes.

Eastbound 94 is quickly becoming a nightmare for commuters heading from Minneapolis to St. Paul. Road work from Huron Blvd to Hwy. 280 has the right lane out of commission. A crash involving a motorcyclist at Franklin Avenue and another wreck in the same area has traffic jammed back to Portland Avenue.

Southbound 35E is busy from Hwy. 36 to downtown St. Paul. A short-lived wreck at Hwy. 36 just cleared. Commuters are still caught in a log jam from County J to County E due to a crash on the northbound side at County E.

Southbound 35W is dealing with congestion from Lexington Avenue to County 96 and a wreck in the left lane at Industrial Blvd. Plan on 30 minutes from Lexington to downtown Minneapolis.

Northbound 35W crawls from Hwy. 13 past a wreck at 98th Street.
