7:55 a.m. update: Rollover on 35E cleared

The rollover crash on southbound 35E at Hwy. 13 had been taken care of and all lanes are back open. Traffic has been crawling from near St. Clair Avenue so it will take a few minutes for things to get back to full speed.

The rollover crash on southbound 35E at Hwy. 13 had been taken care of and all lanes are back open. Traffic has been crawling from near St. Clair Avenue so it will take a few minutes for things to get back to full speed.

Northbound slows a tad from Wagon Wheel Trail past the scene. That was mostly due to the gawker slow down. Lots of folks wanted to see the car upside down in the right ditch across the way.

The big tie up at the moment is on southbound 35W at Lake Street. Traffic is backed up to I-94.

A frightening call for anybody driving on eastbound 94 near Maple Grove Pkwy. Police were on the way to try to stop a driver who apparently is falling a sleep at the wheel.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
