7:55 a.m. update: Green Line trains packed

Riders have told the Drive that cars are packed on the Green Line, the new light rail line between Minneapolis and St. Paul. One said "looks successful from here for sure" as nearly 50 people got on his car. He was heading west from Lexington Avenue into downtown Minneapolis.

Riders have told the Drive that cars are packed on the Green Line, the new light rail line between Minneapolis and St. Paul. One said "looks successful from here for sure" as nearly 50 people got on his car. He was heading west from Lexington Avenue into downtown Minneapolis.

Metro Tranist says all is running smoothly on the line in both directions so far.
