Traffic in most of the metro area is moving at or near the posted speeds due to lighter volumes and decent roads.

Things do bunch up a bit on southbound Hwy. 169 due to a crash on the right shoulder at Medicine Lake Road. The delays begin at Bass Lake Road.

The exception to the decent roads comes on I-35 in Lakeville and Elko. There, roads are extremely icy. Southbound 35 is closed at Hwy. 19. Northbound is shut down at County 50 due to a serious injury crash that is blocking all lanes.
