A stalled vehicle and a motorist who stopped to help explains the sudden congestion that formed on westbound I-494 from Pilot Knob Road over to west of Portland Avenue. Plan on 16 minutes to reach Hwy. 100.

Newport continutes to struggle with a crash in the left lane of northbound Hwy. 61 just before the I-494 interchange. Plan on an extra 5 to 10 minutes coming up from 80th Street in Cottage Grove.

One other crash, eastbound 394 at General Mills Blvd. has the left shoulder blocked. That's mostly affecting drivers in the HOT lane.
