7:55 a.m. update: Creeping along on 94 in St. Paul

The drive on westbound 94 through St. Paul has gone from bad to worse. A crash at Hwy. 280 has cleared, but a new wreck at Hwy. 52 has traffic creeping along from Century Avenue to downtown Minneapolis. That will take you 35 to 40 minutes.

The drive on westbound 94 through St. Paul has gone from bad to worse. A crash at Hwy. 280 has cleared, but a new wreck at Hwy. 52 has traffic creeping along from Century Avenue to downtown Minneapolis. That will take you 35 to 40 minutes.

Northbound Hwy. 100 is plugged up from 50th Street to 394 due to an earlier wreck at Minnetonka Blvd.

Eastbound 94 has its issues. Look for a stall at 42nd Avenue, another just before the Lowry Hill Tunnel and a crash on the right shoulder at Hennepin Avenue. Traffic stacks up beginning at 7th Street leading to 15 minutes to reach Hwy. 280.

A fresh crash involving two or three vehicles is plugging traffic on northbound 35W at 26th Street. Delays begin back at 35th Street. Sounds like injuries with this one.

Things are improving on southbound Hwy. 169 in New Hope. Crashes at Bass Lake Road and 36th Avenue have cleared.
