7:50 a.m. update: Wreck on 35E in St. Paul

A crash is taking out the right lane on northbound 35E at Maryland Avenue and that has traffic backed up to near I-94. Southbound drivers will need 12 minutes from 694 to downtown St. Paul.

A crash is taking out the right lane on northbound 35E at Maryland Avenue and that has traffic backed up to near I-94. Southbound drivers will need 12 minutes from 694 to downtown St. Paul.

Later today, MnDot will open the newly constructed northbound I-35E lanes between Cayuga Street and Maryland Avneue, along with the ramp from northbound I-35E to Maryland Avenue.

To the south, look for a car-deer crash on southbound 35E at Wagon Wheel.
