The sun is making a rare appearance today and it's now causing some slowdowns on eastbound travel.

Things are tight on eastbound 694 from University Avenue over to I-35E. Westbound traffic is heavy from Dale Street over to 35E.

Eastbound 394 is also slow from Xenia Avenue to downtown Minneapolis. That is only adding a few minutes to the drive.

Look for a little bit of a squeeze on westbound 94 from Dale Street over to Hwy. 280.

The usual slow down on westbound 494 is in place with 12 minutes needed from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100.
