7:50 a.m. update: Still crawling on Cedar Avenue

It has been packed on northbound Cedar Avenue all morning and there are no signs that things will loosen any time soon. Look for a 27-minute drive from County Road 42 up to the Crosstown.

It has been packed on northbound Cedar Avenue all morning and there are no signs that things will loosen any time soon. Look for a 27-minute drive from County Road 42 up to the Crosstown.

Commuters on Hwy. 169 coming up from Shakopee into Bloomington are experiencing the same thing. Earlier crashes and spinouts at Anderson Lakes Pkwy. have tangled traffic. Those incidents are clear, but traffic stacks up back to Canterbury Road. It's 21 minutes to 494.

Northbound Pilot Knob Road bogs down at 160th Street in Apple Valley. A school bus without students on board rolled over ahead at 147th Street.

Both directions of 494 and the Crosstown are heavy and slow from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100. Plan on extra time for sure.
