7:50 a.m. update: Plugged on 494 through Bloomington

The winner of the worst traffic award goes to westbound 494. It's a putzy drive from Hardman Avenue in Newport all the way over to Hwy. 100 in Bloomington. A traffic stop has just cleared at Pilot Knob Road, but we've got a First Unit on the right shoulder at 24th Avenue.

The runner up is northbound 35W. Things are thick from Hwy. 13 up to 94th Street, and that has the trip into downtown Minneapolis at 32 minutes.
