Traffic slows on westbound 494 at Xerxes Avenue due to a crash involving three vehicles on the right shoulder.

Speaking of Xerxes, the new bridge over 494 opens today at 3:30 p.m. It's been closed for reconstruction since last July.

Traffic is moving quite well through the work zone on Hwy. 169. The slowest traffic is northbound at Hwy. 7. It's 10 minutes Crosstown to Cedar Lake Road.

Crosstown has a bit of a squeeze heading west between 35W and France Avenue, but nothing too serious there.
