7:45 a.m. update: Wrecks and congestion slowing commute

Commuters on eastbound 94 in Lake Elmo are feeling the effects of a fresh injury crash in the left lane at County Road 71, also known as Neal Avenue. Ahead, traffic bunches up near Radio Drive and remains on the slow side into downtown St. Paul.

Commuters on eastbound 94 in Lake Elmo are feeling the effects of a fresh injury crash in the left lane at County Road 71, also known as Neal Avenue. Ahead, traffic bunches up near Radio Drive and remains on the slow side into downtown St. Paul.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 in Anoka and Coon Rapids continues to trudge along. The holdup is due to a crash at Hanson Blvd. At least a tow truck has arrived to take away the cars involved.

Southbound Hwy. 169 from Champlin to 394 is crash free, but it's just busy. The crammed conditions begin around 109th Avenue and remain in place into Golden Valley.

Road work jammed traffic on northbound 494 early this morning. The lanes are back open traffic is getting back to normal from Crosstown up to 394.

Eastbound 94 from Rogers to Maple Grove sputters in spots due to a crash at Weaver Lake Road.
