7:45 a.m. update: Parking lot forming on 494 in Newport

A crash on westbound 494 at the Wakota Bridge has the center and right lanes blocked. The area is quickly turning into a parking lot. Traffic comes to a stop at Carver Avenue.

A crash on westbound 494 at the Wakota Bridge has the center and right lanes blocked. The area is quickly turning into a parking lot. Traffic comes to a stop at Carver Avenue.

Northbound 35E is starting to feel the slowdowns from 494 to Hwy. 13. The squeeze is adding 5 minutes to the drive. Plan on 20 to 23 minutes from Cedar Avenue to downtown St. Paul.

Westbound 94 crawls from Radio Drive to downtown St. Paul. That is now at 19 minutes.
