In Mendota Heights, westbound Hwy. 55 is closed at Lexington Avenue due to a fatal crash ahead at Northland Drive. The road will be closed for the morning rush hour, MnDOT is reporting. Best advice is to use Dodd Road up to 494.

Our other hot spots include westbound 94 at Snelling Avenue. A motorist lost a tire and a truck is sitting over the fog line on the left.

Eastbound 94 comes to a crawl at Cretin Avenue. A crash ahead at Prior Avenue is the culprit.
