While all the closings of the Minnesota River crossings has received most of the attention this morning, east metro drivers are getting stuck on the roads due to a flurry of crashes in the past few minutes.

Our trouble spots include a wreck on westbound 494 at Hardman Avenue. That has traffic stacked up at Lake Road and making for a 20 minute drive over to Cedar Avenue in Bloomington.

Westbound 94, already heavy due to extra traffic from the Stillwater Lift Bridge closing, is struggling from Manning Avenue to Hwy. 280. A wreck at Hwy. 52 in downtown St. Paul is not helping matters.

Northbound 35E has gone sour from Wagon Wheel Trail past a wreck involving a transit bus at the Hwy. 110 exit. Ahead, things flow near the posted speeds into downtown St. Paul.
