The middle portion of the rush hour is plagued with crashes that are causing major headaches for commuters.

On eastbound 694, traffic comes to a grind at Brooklyn Blvd. due to a wreck ahead at Univeristy Avenue. Westbound is snarled from Silver Lake Road over to Hwy. 252. It's 15 to 20 minutes in each direction.

In Eden Prairie, traffic is getting by on the right shoulder as crash at Mitchell Road is blocking both lanes.

The slow downs on northbound Hwy. 100 begin at Excelsior Blvd. as a crash is taking out the right shoulder ahead at 27th Street.

Northbound Hwy. 169 is sluggish from Hwy. 7 up to Minnetonka Blvd. due to a wreck there.

Westbound Crosstown is locked up from 35W to Valley View Road where a crash is on the right shoulder.
