7:45 a.m. update: A slow slough on Hwy. 100

A crash that has been sitting on the right shoulder of southbound Hwy. 100 at 42nd Avenue for more than 45 minutes has led to a traffic jam that extends back to 57th Avenue. Traffic is at a standstill. Things do improve greatly once you reach 36th Avenue.

A crash that has been sitting on the right shoulder of southbound Hwy. 100 at 42nd Avenue for more than 45 minutes has led to a traffic jam that extends back to 57th Avenue. Traffic is at a standstill. Things do improve greatly once you reach 36th Avenue.

Northbound Hwy. 100 sputters from 50th Street up to I-394.

On northbound 35E, commuters will hit the brakes at Pilot Knob Road and ride them all the way up to Hwy. 110. Plan on 20 minutes for that drive.

I-494 through Bloomington is back to its old tricks with heavy traffic in both directions between Hwy. 100 and Cedar Avenue. Look for a crash on eastbound 494 at Hwy. 100.
