7:40 a.m. update: Still messy on Hwy. 169

An earlier car fire on the southbound side of Hwy. 169 at Pioneer Trail caused a northbound gawker slow down that still had not abated. Plan on 15 minutes from Canterbury Road up to 494.

An earlier car fire on the southbound side of Hwy. 169 at Pioneer Trail caused a northbound gawker slow down that still had not abated. Plan on 15 minutes from Canterbury Road up to 494.

Look for a pair of vehicles off on the right on the ramp from 35E to eastbound Hwy. 36 in Maplewood.

Elsewhere, westbound Hwy. 36 bunches up between Dale Street and Snelling Avenue. It's 10 minutes from 35E to 35W.
