A new road project that kicked off this morning is catching some drivers by surprise. The southbound lanes of Hwy. 169 are closed at Bren Road. The lanes will be closed for the next two weeks.

That is creating a ramp jam on Bren Road with traffic slowing back at Hwy. 7.

Northbound 169 is seeing sluggish conditions from Canterbury Road up to Anderson Lakes Pkwy. It's 15 minutes to reach 494.

That is a walk in the park compared to drivers caught in the backup resulting from a crash on northbound I-35 at County 50 in Lakeville. Traffic is parked at 205th Street as the left lane at County 50 is blocked.

Northbound Cedar Avenue is seeing pockets of congestion between McAndrews Road and Crosstown. Plan on 12 minutes for that trip.
