7:40 a.m. update: Little relief for 35W drivers

Commuters on northbound 35W are still stuck in a traffic jam created by an earlier crash at Hwy. 13. The congestion is not loosening, and that's making for a 26-minute drive from County 42 up to 494.

Commuters on northbound 35W are still stuck in a traffic jam created by an earlier crash at Hwy. 13. The congestion is not loosening, and that's making for a 26-minute drive from County 42 up to 494.

Westbound Hwy. 36 is crammed from Hwy. 61 to 35W. That is 22 minutes.

Westbound 94 is bogged down from White Bear Avenue to downtown St. Paul. Congestion remains in place over to Dale Street and then returns from 35W to the Lowry Tunnel.

Northbound 35E has its share of slow traffic from Lone Oak Road to Victoria St. Plan on 28 minutes from Cedar Avenue to downtown St. Paul.

That jackknifed semi is still blocking on northbound Hwy. 52 at 117th Street. There also is word of a wreck in the backup, which extends to near Hwy. 55.
