7:40 a.m. update: Lanes back open on 35W at Hwy. 280

That pesky doe that MnDOT and the State Patrol tried to wrangle in was a tough catch, but word is they got the doe the second time around. Crews have cleared the scene and all lanes are now back open.

That pesky doe that MnDOT and the State Patrol tried to wrangle in was a tough catch, but word is they got the doe the second time around. Crews have cleared the scene and all lanes are now back open.

The action did create a backlog on westbound Hwy. 36 with slow traffic from Dale Street over to Hwy. 280. That will take a few minutes to clear out.

Southbound 35W continues to sputter. The jamup begins at 95th Avenue in Blaine and things don't loosen a whole lot until Industrial Blvd. Look for a crash on the 95th Avenue exit and a disabled truck on the right shoulder at County Road 10. Over all, it's 31 minutes from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis.
