Major delays now on westbound 694 from White Bear Avenue to the 694/35E split. That is largely a result of the gridlock conditions on southbound 35E from 694 to University Avenue. The culprit is a stalled truck in the left lane at Maryland Avenue.
The roads are wet enought to cause spinouts. Just ask the motorist who took the curve from eastbound 694 to southbound 94 too fast and ended up on the embankment. That's enough to cause a gawker slow down approaching 57th Avenue.
