The good news for commuters heading into downtown Minneapolis on I-394 and eastbound 94. The crash that had the right lane blocked for the past 50 minutes is finally out of the way. All lanes are open.
Being that was in a highly-traveled area, it will take some time for traffic to recover. Currently the trip on east 394 from 494 to 35W via 94 is 16 minutes.
On eastbound 94, a car off the road at Dowling Avenue has traffic slowing at 49th Avenue past the scene, and then again from Olson Hwy. to Hwy. 280. The trip from 694 to Hwy. 280 is 26 minutes.
