I'm not sure what the deal is on northbound 35W, but we are now dealing with a fifth crash in the stretch between Crosstown and 46th Street.

The latest is between Diamond Lake Road and 50th Street. The previous wrecks have cleared, but traffic remains heavy all the way to downtown Minneapolis.

In New Hope, a crash off to the right shoulder on southbound Hwy. 169 at 36th Avenue has drivers hitting the brakes beginning at 49th Avenue.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
