7:35 a.m. update: Current drive times

It's a nightmare of a drive for commuters on southbound 35E heading for downtown St. Paul. A trio of wrecks at Roselawn Avenue, Maryland Avenue and one that just cleared at Pennsylvania Avenue has traffic gridlocked from Little Canada Road to I-94. That trip is at 18 minutes and getting longer.

Other tight spots include eastbound 394 from General Mills Blvd. to Hwy. 100 with a crash at Louisiana Avenue and northbound 35W from County 42 up to Black Dog Road with crash on the right at Cliff Road.

Southbound 35W from 95th Avenue to downtown Minneapolis: 23 minutes

Southbound 35E from County 96 to I-94: 18 minutes.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 12 minutes

West metro

Eastbound 94 from Hwy. 101 to 494: 17 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 11 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 11 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 169 from I-94 to Crosstown: 19 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 11 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 18 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 14 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 19 minutes

Northbound 169 from Canterbury Road to 494: 12 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 9 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 5 minutes
