7:30 a.m. update: Stalls, crashes and snow clog roads

Many drives are taking an hour or more as a result of snow and heavy traffic.

Crashes continue to snarl traffic on freeways and highways. Here are the latest trouble spots:

Southbound 35E at County Road 11 in Apple Valley.

Westbound 694 at Hwy. 36. Vehicle blocking the ramp.

Northbound 35W at 694 in Arden Hills.

Westbound 94 at Elm Creek Blvd. Vehicle landed in center median.

Westbound 494 at 24th Avenue. Traffic slow from Pilot Knob Road past the scene.

Eastbound 694 at 35E. The right shoulder is blocked.
