7:30 a.m. update: Current drive times

The morning commute has not produced many crashes, but the few we've had have created havoc. Commuters on eastbound 94 in the northwest suburbs are still feeling the effects of a semitrailer truck crash just around 6 a.m. That wreck has cleared, but traffic jams back at County 37 in Albertville and is bumper to bumper to the Fish Lake Split.

A car crash and fire taking out two southbound lanes of 35W at 102nd Street in Bloomington is impacting traffic in both directions. Northbound drivers are slowing to peek over the wall, and that has traffic creeping along from Crystal Lake Road up to 94th Street. It's a 30- to 35-minute trek to Minneapolis.

Southbound 35E is crash free, but traffic loses steam near County J and again from Hwy. 36 into downtown St. Paul.

Southbound 35E from County J to I-94: 28 minutes.

Westbound 694 from 35E to Hwy. 252: 15 minutes. Eastbound is 12 minutes.

Eastbound 94 from Crow River to 494: 39 minutes

Southbound 494 from 94 down to 394: 9 minutes

Eastbound 394 from 494 to 35W via 94: 10 minutes

Southbound Hwy. 100 from I-94 to Crosstown: 17 minutes

South metro

Northbound 35W from County 42 to Crosstown: 20 minutes To downtown Minneapolis: 27 minutes.

Northbound Cedar Avenue from 35E to the Crosstown: 22 minutes

Northbound 35E from County 42 to downtown St. Paul: 23 minutes

Eastbound Hwy. 212 from Dell Road to Crosstown: 8 minutes

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100: 10 minutes. Eastbound 494 from Hwy. 169 to 35W: 11 minutes
