The newest incident on the system is a hit-and-run crash on northbound Hwy. 61 approaching 494 in the Newport area. Ahead, traffic slows approaching I-94.

The toughest drive has to be on southbound 35E. A stalled truck blocking the left lane at Maryland Avenue has caused a backup that begins at Little Canada Road. Further to the north, things are tight from County Road J down to 694. Plan on 40 minutes from the Forest Lake Split to reach downtown St. Paul.

A crash on northbound Cedar Avenue at Diffley Road has traffic bound up from 127th Street past the scene.

I-494 drivers are dealing with the remnants of earlier crashes eastbound at E. Bush Lake Road and a new one just reported just past Hwy. 169. Earlier crashes on westbound at Portland Avenue and West Bush Lake Road have cleared.
