7:25 a.m. update: One crash on the system

Our lone accident is on the ramp from westbound Hwy. 101/Hwy.13 to northbound Hwy. 169 in the Shakopee area.

Overall, traffic is not too tough this morning, despite the rain, mist and fog. We do have a few places where traffic is tight, but no major delays at this hour.

Our lone accident is on the ramp from westbound Hwy. 101/Hwy.13 to northbound Hwy. 169 in the Shakopee area.

Delays of a few minutes are developing on the Crosstown in both directions from Hwy. 169 and 35W.

Motorists are rolling along near the posted speeds on southbound 494 through Maple Grove and Plymouth. In Bloomington, it's 10 minutes on westbound 494 from 35W over to Hwy. 100.

Westbound Hwy. 36 is looking fine from 35E over to Hwy. 280.

Look for slowing on northbound Hwy. 61 approaching I-94. Once on 94, eastbound traffic is flowing at just below the posted speeds over to 35E. Ahead, things look fine all the way over to the Lowry Hill Tunnel.

Southbound 35W has its usual congestion between Hwy. 10 to 694. The trip to Hwy. 280 will take about 10 to 12 minutes.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
