Adding to the misery is that winds are starting to pick up. It's getting hard to see on some places with open land, such as I-494 between Pilot Knob Road and Hwy. 110.

Adding to the misery is that winds are starting to pick up. It's getting hard to see on some places with open land, such as I-494 between Pilot Knob Road and Hwy. 110.

The number of crashes has dropped off, but that might be because roads are near gridlock and nobody is going very fast.

Of course, that means drive times are increasing dramatically. Plan on doubling or tripling your normal drive times.
