Yes, even in the city, the deer are out this morning. One motorist found out the hard way when it collided with a buck at Golden Valley Road and Major Drive in Golden Valley.

On 694, commuters are watching out for lots of other drivers. Traffic is stacked up from Central Avenue over to Hwy. 100.

Eastbound 694 is heavy duty from County 81 to University Avenue. Look for a wreck on the right shoulder approaching Brooklyn Blvd.

You'll find pockets of slow traffic on eastbound 394 from Hwy. 169 to 94. Much of that is due to the sun that is coming up and shining in drivers' eyes.

South metro drivers are moving along quite nicely. No big delays on northbound Cedar Avenue, 35W or Hwy. 169.

Even Crosstown and 494 are moving well for this time of the morning.
