7:20 a.m. update: Stacked up on 694

Traffic on westbound 694 is inching along from Silver Lake Road past 252.

I've been watching the intersection of 694 and Hwy. 252/100 all morning. It's been plagued with crashes.

The latest has just cleared, but traffic on westbound 694 is inching along from Silver Lake Road past 252. You'll need 10 minutes to get through there. Caution, it's icy in the area.

More problems for southbound 35W. A stall is blocking a lane near County Road I. That area is still trying to recover from an earlier accident and a load of hay that was spilled on the road. It's 23 minutes from 95th Avenue to Hwy. 280.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 also is slow from Central Avenue.

Look for a spinout on eastbound 94 at Huron Blvd.

Big delays on southbound Hwy. 101 due to a crash near 94 in Rogers. The backup begins at County Road 37.

The ramp from Hwy. 55/5 to Hiawatha Avenue remains closed as authorities work to clear a multi-vehicle wreck.

As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
