7:20 a.m. update: Miserable on Hwy. 10 and 35W

The commute has gone very sour for those on northbound I-35W. It's sluggish from Hwy. 13 up to the Minnesota River bridge. Then things come to a crawl from the Crosstown to downtown Minneapolis. A stall at 35th Street and a crash on the University Avenue ramp has it thick from Diamond Lake Road into downtown.

A stall at 35th Street and a crash on the University Avenue ramp has it thick from Diamond Lake Road into downtown.

Eastbound Hwy. 10 from Main Street in Anoka to I-35W is creeping along. Multiple wrecks along that stretch and slippery roads are making for a slow slow drive.
