7:20 a.m. update: Lane reopened on I-35W in Roseville

MnDOT has removed a deer that had been in the median on southbound I-35W at Hwy. 280. The left lane had been blocked for about 20 minutes. That has traffic on westbound Hwy. 36 creeping along from Dale Street over to Hwy. 280.

Southbound 35W is tight from County Road 88 to Hwy. 280. Further north, things are barely moving from 95th Avenue to County Road 96.

Off the mainline, police are dealing with an accident on the 1500 block of University Avenue in Minneapolis.

The usual drop in speed on northbound Hwy. 169 and 35W over the Minnesota River bridges is occurring, but that will only set you back a couple minutes. Drives there are reasonable for this hour.
