A horrible scene is unfolding on Hwy. 12 where a head-on collision between County Road 29 and County Road 6 has the highway shut down.

Air Care has been sent to the scene and a state reconstruction team is being requested.

Motorists can use County Road 19 south to County Road 6, then east back to Hwy. 12 to get around the closure.

This one sounds bad. Expect the closure to remain in effect for some time.

Elsewhere we have a fresh wreck on the Crosstown. It's westbound just past Cedar Avenue. Another wreck on westbound Crosstown at Tracy Avenue should be cleaned up shortly.

In Brooklyn Center, look for crashers on the left shoulder of southbound Hwy. 100 at France Avenue. Traffic bunches up at Brooklyn Blvd.

The State Patrol is on the scene of a fender bender on westbound Hwy. 110 at the Mendota Bridge.
