Unless you are traveling on Hwy. 36 in Lake Elmo, the roads are in fine shape and traffic volumes are manageable.

On Hwy. 36, the road is shut down in both directions at Manning Avenue as the State Patrol reconstructs a serious injury accident that happened earlier this morning.

Word is that westbound traffic is backed up to Hwy. 5.

Elsewhere things are not too tough. We've got pockets of slow traffic, but nothing that will set you back any more than just a couple minutes.

Those areas include:
Southbound 35W from Hwy. 10 to 694.

Northbound 35W from Burnsville Pkwy. to 494.

Southbound 35E from County Road J to 694.

Westbound 94 from Johnson Pkwy. to Hwy. 52.

Westbound 494 from Cedar Avenue to Hwy. 100.

Westbound Crosstown from 35W to Hwy. 100.

Northbound Hwy. 169 from the Minnesota River up to the Anderson Lakes Bridge.

Northbound Hwy. 55 from Dodd Road to the Mendota Bridge.
