7:15 a.m. update: Not perfect, but rather pleasant on the roads

It's a nice drive or ride to work today as traffic is moving right along in most places. Even the usually congested spots are not seeing big trouble today.

It's a nice drive or ride to work today as traffic is moving right along in most places. Even the usually congested spots are not seeing big trouble today.

The exception would be on southbound 35W where traffic is heavy from County Road I to Hwy. 280. It's about a 23-minute drive.

On eastbound 94, there's a nice line of traffic from 7th Street through the Lowry Hill Tunnel. That's a result of an earlier accident at 35W.

Elsewhere, a stalled vehicle on the ramp from 50th Street to southbound Hwy. 100 is slowing traffic on 100 from Excelsior Blvd.

You'll find crowding on northbound 35E from W. 7th Street to Jefferson Avenue.

FILE -- A rent deposit slot at an apartment complex in Tucker, Ga., on July 21, 2020. As an eviction crisis has seemed increasingly likely this summer, everyone in the housing market has made the same plea to Washington: Send money — lots of it — that would keep renters in their homes and landlords afloat.
