7:15 a.m. update: A new round of crashes

The first two hours of the rush were sleepy for sure, but once the clock struck 7 a.m. the crashes and problems began.

The first two hours of the rush were sleepy for sure, but once the clock struck 7 a.m. the crashes and problems began.

Our current trouble spots include a motorcycle crash on northbound Cedar Avenue just prior to the Crosstown. That's got traffic cramming up at 494.

Look for bumper to bumper conditions on southbound 494 from the Fish Lake Interchange down past a crash at 49th Avenue.

Northbound 35W is recovering now that a stall at Cliff Road has been pushed out of the lanes. Meanwhile, a new crash on southbound 35W at Hennepin Avenue has the brake lights coming on at Johnson Street.
