7:10 a.m. update: Pockets or rain and congestion

Just like the spotty showers around the metro area, congestion is spotty, too. Traffic in many places is moving fine, but in others its bumper to bumper.

Just like the spotty showers around the metro area, congestion is spotty, too. Traffic in many places is moving fine, but in others its bumper to bumper.

Among the slow spots is eastbound 94 from County 37 to Hwy. 101 in Rogers. Ahead look for brake lights in the vicinity of Elm Creek Blvd. in Maple Grove.

In Bloomington, 494 slows in both directions from Hwy. 100 to Lyndale Avenue. A Highway Helper vehicle is dealing with a three-vehicle wreck on the ramp from eastbound 494 at France Avenue.

Southbound 35W jams up near Hwy. 10, but loosens south of 694.

The medical emergency on eastbound 694 at 35W has cleared. Plan on 10 minutes in each direction between Central Avenue and 35E.
